happiness is a new coffee shop
At least for me. I’ve noticed this rather nice looking place after my stop at Summer Coffee. Lofi coffee has been open some months I believe so lazy me is just getting to trying it.
When we first moved here there was a lack of coffee houses. This side of town seemed destined to lag behind. Now there are wonderful things. Not like Howard Carter in Egypt of course. More like an old retired guy in Siem Reap finding more and more new morning places. The joy for me in this neighborhood is seeing the city grow its places so we have choice. Closer I have Coffee Bean which is my default sometimes. Owned by a wonderful couple that welcomes me warmly each time. The table I love there lets me watch the city go by and yet feel apart from it. Love that.
So many choices including the so-called coffee shacks where an iced coffee Khmer style is 3000 riel.
So I’m enthralled and happy. And when tomorrow becomes today I will go show you lofi coffee. A nice walk and voila. Of course I’m starting this the night before. It’s my style folks.
Lofi coffee coming
And here I am. Nice place. I like. Coffee shops on this side of town I hope last. It took me some nice walk here.

Cambodia coffee culture is this “relaxed do it later enjoy the coffee now” thing. Places like this kind of restate it. It gives a nice destination to a balmy morning. Now with my Americano and time I can write. Find this distance from the things there. Have time to just do here. I’m grateful for the small businesses that choose this side of town.
See down the blog later. I’ll just enjoy my nothing now.
